Fill in a BS 5839-1:2025 fire alarm or BS 5266-1:2025 emergency lighting certificate on your phone, with the device register and defects list, and hand over a clean PDF before you leave. Each site gets a portal link, so the landlord or managing agent can find every certificate and the next service date.
The free generator needs no account and nothing is stored. The trial needs no card.
Five certificate types
Fire alarm inspection and servicing; design, installation, commissioning and acceptance; extension or modification. Emergency lighting periodic inspection and test; completion. Labels are written for engineers and cite the clause numbers.
Device register and defects
Add devices as you walk the site, or paste them from a spreadsheet. On the next visit, start from the last register with every result reset to "Not tested".
Client portal per site
Send your client one link. They see every certificate for their building, the result and when the next service is due, and they can download the PDFs. No login for them.
Works on a phone
Big inputs, yes/no/N-A buttons, a signature pad, and a draft saved in the browser if the signal drops.

Built on BS 5839-1:2025 (clause 43 servicing, Annex F false-alarm rate, the new extension or modification certificate) and BS 5266-1:2025, in effect from 31 October 2025.

What changed in BS 5839-1:2025, in the form
- CIE clock checked at every service visit
- Service interval: about 6 months, with 5 to 7 months acceptable (43.2.1)
- Each ARC signal type confirmed at every visit
- False-alarm rate per 100 detectors per year worked out for you (Annex F)
- Remote access and cyber security checked (43.4)
- "Extension or modification" certificate, including CIE firmware updates (Section 7)
